Taxpayers: Beware

This kind of nonsense might be funny (or at least laughable) today, but I’ll bet a lot of totalitarian, despotic states started out at some point way back with a ridiculous scenario that elicited a few simple questions like, “You’re kidding, right?” or “Is this some sort of practical joke?” and “What the–? Where’s the camera?”
